Reservation & Payment
To confirm a reservation at Kumai Gorkha Homestay, the following payment terms apply:
50% of the total booking amount must be paid in advance** at the time of booking.
* The remaining **50% must be paid upon arrival** at the homestay.
* A reservation will be considered confirmed only after the required 50% advance payment has been received and acknowledged by the homestay
* Guests must provide accurate booking, contact, and guest information.
* Room availability is subject to confirmation by Kumai Gorkha Homestay.
Guest Identification
Every guest must carry a valid Aadhaar Card or other government-issued identity document** at the time of arrival/check-in.
If a guest fails to provide a valid identity document when required, Kumai Gorkha Homestay reserves the right to refuse or cancel the booking,
subject to applicable law.
In such a situation, the **advance payment will not ordinarily be refundable**, subject to applicable law.
Children Policy
* Children below 5 years of age stay free of charge.
* Children aged **5 years and above** may be charged according to the applicable room and/or meal plan.
* Guests must provide the correct age of children at the time of booking.
Driver Accommodation
Separate accommodation for drivers is available at:
₹600 per driver per night
Driver accommodation is subject to availability.
Guests should inform the homestay at the time of booking if accommodation is required for a driver.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
Once payment has been made, the amount paid is **generally non-refundable**, subject to applicable law and any
specific written cancellation terms agreed by Kumai Gorkha Homestay.
In particular:
* Cancellation after payment may result in the amount paid being retained.
* Failure to arrive for a confirmed booking (no-show) may result in the amount paid being non-refundable.
* Guests are advised to confirm their travel plans before making payment.
* Any exceptional refund or adjustment will be considered by the homestay management on a case-by-case basis and subject to applicable law.
Check-In Check-Out and Guest Responsibilities
Guests are expected to:
* Provide valid identification when required.
* Follow the homestay's house rules.
* Respect other guests, staff, local residents, and the surrounding environment.
* Take reasonable care of rooms, furniture, equipment, and other homestay property.
* Follow safety instructions.
* Pay all applicable charges relating to their stay.
* Provide truthful and accurate information during booking.
Guests may be responsible for reasonable costs arising from damage or loss caused to homestay property by them or members of their group, subject to applicable law.
Guests must vacate their rooms and complete check-out by 10:00 AM.
Additional charges may apply if the room is not vacated after the scheduled check-out time, according to the homestay’s policy.
Guests who require additional time should inform the homestay management in advance.
Any late check-out is subject to availability and approval by Kumai Gorkha Homestay management.

Information about rooms, facilities, food, sightseeing locations, roads, viewpoints, rivers, forests, weather,
transportation, and other local
attractions is provided for general information.
Facilities and local conditions may change because of weather, maintenance,

factors beyond our reasonable control.
Kumai Gorkha Homestay does not guarantee that every facility, attraction, road, or sightseeing location will
